Independent international jury (Germany, Japan, Jordan and Palestine) have awarded our project \u201cTreehouse Camp\u201d first place. The project goal is to revitalize and establish a youth camp on Kamenicki vis with a variety of ecologically sustainable cultural-sports activities, promotion of cultural-historical heritage of our local community and employment. The presentation was done by the president of the Association Kamenica mr Dejan Mitic. The second place was awarded to the association \u201cDobra zemlja\u201d from Macedonia, and the third place to association \u201cECO Logic\u201d from Montenegro.<\/p>\n

\nBefore the regional forum, there were competitions on the local level organized by partners of Rockefeller Brothers Fund \u00a0– \u00a0Trag foundation from Serbia, Forum of citizen initiatives of Kosovo, Fund for active citizenship of Montenegro, Abanija from Albania and Association of social innovations \u00a0\u201c ARNO \u201c from Macedonia. With our association, two more ideas from Serbia also competed: \u201cEko camp Vukasovci\u201d by Equesterian club Aran\u0111elovac presented by Elena Santovac and \u201cDve stolice i majstorice\u201d project of reparation and restauration of old wooden furniture by Mila Rosi\u0107 from Belgrade.
\nDuring the two days of competition, 15 national finalists have presented a variety of ideas: production of plant soaps, cultivation and processing of herbs and aromatic plants, production of bio gas, construction of a prototype machine to make pellet from wood waste, economical empowerment of female victims of domestic abuse, organic egg production and such.
