Association Kamenica has won the scholarship from Erste Foundation to participate in the program „ERSTE Foundation NGO Academy 2015/2016”. This educational program is specially designed by the ERSTE foundation team as a support to the organizations from Central and Southeast Europe alike ours.
On that occasion, two representatives of our team have taken part in the workshops of „Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking for NGOs through the Authenticitys Challenge” held by Mrs. Elena Rodrigues Blanco on 22 and 23rd of October in the futuristic surroundment of the WU campus (Vienna University of Economics and Business http://www.wu.ac.at/en/).
The workshops themselves represented a successful mix between theoretical and practical activities in which the participants realized field questionnaires and research in the WU campus and immediate surroundings, then returned and used the acquired results in further education.
Except for the new knowledge, the workshops and free time were used to build new friendships and networking with similar organizations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Bosnia and Croatia.
We are looking forward to the new workshops in Zagreb, where one of our representatives will be travelling, and to the numerous content prepared for us by the “ERSTE Foundation NGO Academy” team in the following year.
