Thanks to Young Researchers of Serbia and Ministry of Youth and Sports, we have successfully finished our first volunteer camp in this year. Aside from the works on restoration of the camp and its furniture, 12 young volunteers from all over Europe, have, with the support of local volunteers, managed to plow through the forest trail leading from our camp on Kamenicki Vis to the Cerje Cave, 4 km in length. With this, the first circular touristic trail was created, with its 14 km in extent due to the connection being made with two dead-ends of asphalt roads of which one ends at the Camp, and the other at the Cerje Cave. The trail was symbolically named “The Ring of Kalafat” after the nearby summit of Kalafat. After two weeks of work, on 8th of July we have officially revealed the info table to the partners from the municipality of Pantelej and, in escort of many journalists, took a walk to the Cerje cave. Already, during the morning of the next da, we were pleasantly surprised to see first groups and individuals who came to take a stroll on our trail. Soon, the map of “The Ring of Kalafat” will be posted and downloadable.
