The Association was granted resources for co-financing of our first international youth camp in Kamenicki Vis. The concourse was done by Mladi istraživači Srbije/VsS within the program “Mladi su zakon” of the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the project “Nacionalni volonterski program mladih 2015 – volonterski kampovi”.
The goal of volunteer camps is to bring positive changes into local communities and to, regardless of the camp subject, be an example of work that is of public interest. A volunteer camps is an unique form of volunteer work that goes on from 10 days to 2 weeks, in which volunteers from Serbia and abroad take participation. It is dedicated to all people of good will from aged from 18 to 30, regardless of their expertise or education. Accomodations, food and field trips during the camp are provided, while the volunteers only pay for travel expenses.
Our volunteer camp strives to contribute to the revitalization and promotion of the devastated camp settlement in Kamenicki Vis in goal to develop our local community and raise awareness for volunteer work in the local level.
